My Philosophy
I’ve always enjoyed my chosen profession. It never ceases to amaze me what a difference it makes to a person having a new, fresh hairstyle to lift the spirit. It helps to stimulate and create a feeling of well being, allowing one to represent themselves with confidence. I think the one thing we all have in common is the need to represent ourselves with dignity; neither age nor gender a part of this equation.
I’m always grateful for the opportunity to be a part of these experiences and I am looking forward to meeting my next client.
My Experience
I have a long history in the hair styling industry. Over the years I’ve worked in my own salon, styled for fashion shows and the Miss Vancouver Beauty Pageant, and visited my clients in hospitals. I have completed training at the Vidal Sassoon and Suki’s Academies and studied advanced colour techniques. I stay current with the latest trends and techniques. For the 4 years before starting Mobile Hair Styling by Susan Grant I was working with Seniors in Assisted Living and Residential Care.
